my girlfriend can attest, I’m a pretty messy eater. If there’s a white
fabric within 10 feet of my plate, there is a good chance some portion
of my entree will end up there.
Enter the Frame Napkin
from Japanese design firm Kyouei. The cotton napkins feature a
screenprint of an old, museum-like baroque frame. The white center is
perfect for creating abstract works of art in marinara, dijon, or any
other condiment you happen to spill on yourself.
Best of all,
it’s made of cotton so you can have a fresh canvas after doing the
laundry. It has yet to be released but expect it to run for $30 from
the crew over at Charles and Marie. Bon appetit.
