The plaza is located across from Main Street Station at 15th and E. Main streets and links Shockoe Slip with Shockoe Bottom with a well-lit walkway and beautiful architecture underneath the I-95 overpass. A new flood control drainage system protects the area from torrential rains.

Vendors at the nearby 17th Street Farmers’ Market are expecially excited about the prospects of increased parking now available during busy weekend shopping hours. The first hour of parking is free, with each additional hour $1, $6 for the day, or $60 a month. More than 100 floodlights keep the lot illuminated until 2 a.m. every night.
